A note from our founder
Motivated by my own experiences as a busty woman, I’ve always been frustrated by the limited selection of D+ swimwear.
For me, the start of the holiday season would mean spending hours in changing rooms, trying to fit into different styles of bikinis and swimwear, only to get more frustrated with the limited selection for busty women.
I realized that while most fast fashion brands focused on offering standard sizing, many bikini tops in specialty stores for busty women only had old-fashioned styles and were lacking in variety.
That’s why I’m so happy to introduce Sakuranna! I wanted to offer stylish pieces that make you feel sexy, confident, and beach-ready. Most importantly, I want my swimwear to tick off all the right boxes: fashionable, flattering, supportive, well-fitted, and functional.
I’ve always had an appreciation for Japanese art and culture and the impact it continues to have on fashion design. Along with swimwear, Sakuranna also offers kimonos with Japanese-inspired digital prints, a medium I chose as it’s the most sustainable way of printing. Thrown over Sakuranna swimsuits or over a tee and jeans, they have endless styling options to take your looks from poolside lounging to happy hour drinks.
