Our products are packed in Sakuranna cotton bags, one of the best eco-friendly alternatives as they are sourced from natural plant fibre. The cotton used is grown without pesticides and other harmful chemicals, our cotton bags are fully biodegradable.
Sakuranna pieces are then shipped in a compostable mailer or brown shipping box which is recyclable and made out of recycled fibers.
Sakuranna only works with trusted suppliers and partners that support ethical work practices. When choosing our manufacturers and suppliers, we look at their ethics in terms of human rights, quality of services, environmental practices, experience and synergy with the brand. We also visit these factories and remain in constant contact with our partners to ensure that they are meeting these same high standards.

We’ve committed to planting a tree with every purchase of an item from Sakuranna. To ensure we support responsible tree planting, we've chosen Ecologi as our climate impact partner so we can be sure our investment will genuinely make a real difference in restoring ecosystems and supporting livelihoods. Each tree planted offsets approximately 30kg of CO2 per year, which more than covers the quantity of CO2 produced during the development, manufacturing and purchase of each garment. Over the next 25 years, each tree will continue to offset carbon, equating to approximately 750kg per tree over the period.
For each order placed we plant a tree through the Eden Reforestation Projects to the northwest region of Madagascar. Eden are world leaders in responsible reforestation, having planted 265 million mangrove trees and created 2.6 million work days for local communities to date. Madagascar is a nation with over 200,000 species of plants and animals that don’t exist anywhere else in the world. Unfortunately, more than 90% of Madagascar’s original forests have been destroyed, forcing entire animal species from their natural habitat. Mangrove trees sequester 2 to 4 times more carbon than a tropical rainforest.
We feel this is an important step towards the right direction for becoming a climate positive brand, and we are thrilled to have partnered up with Ecologi and The Eden Reforestation Projects to fund projects that have such a powerful impact on the world.
